We have a solution for this too! Each and every one of our remotes comes with a screw that can fasten the battery cover so the batteries cannot be accessed without a screwdriver. This makes it not worth the trouble for customers to easily take the batteries as souvenirs. And of course this screw is optional, the battery cover does not need the screw to stay on. It will fasten securely just like most other remotes will without it.
